Having grown up in Oregon, Isaac Cherry developed an interest in technology innovations and how they could be applied to the field of forestry through his study at Umpqua Community College and Oregon State University. He is currently a junior studying Forest Management with an option in Fire Restoration at Oregon State University and is set to graduate June of 2025. Isaac is a certified commercial drone pilot and is training to be part of the forestry spray program here at AeroTract. Through his work experience in past forest management internships, he has learned skills in traditional forest inventory and the ecological challenges faced by modern forestry in the pacific northwest, and is working to apply his knowledge in new ways through the use of drone data collection and AI data analysis.
