Ken grew up in the foothills of the Cascades between Lebanon and Sweet Home, Oregon. He’s the kind of guy who could never let go of the how and why questions as he climbed the old growth trees left to replant the hillside 100 years before.  He read that “mathematics was the language of God” which led him to Oregon State University where he studied computer science, mathematics, and the physical sciences.  Enamored by Information Technology, he jumped into the life of business automation.  He spent ten years helping small businesses optimize through apt use of technology before going on to administer IT infrastructure and shepherd data in municipal, utility and academic environments.  During that time earned a BS in Business Administration from Corban University in Salem, Oregon.
